Counsellor | Former VCAL Teacher | Survival Expert
Tory knows first hand what it takes to develop an exceptional mindset and to thrive in challenging conditions. One of just five civilians in four years to successfully complete a grueling 6-day military survival program in the Peruvian Amazon, Tory has pushed the limits of her own mental fitness and through a wide range of experiences has proven her ability to impart those skills to others using a focused and personalised approach to mental fitness training.

Best-practice, science-based techniques are Tory's preference to prevent, manage or overcome a range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, learning difficulties, relationships and big life transitions. With her background in psychology, Tory is cognizant of the assessment criteria for mental health disorders and is well-placed to refer clients to different professionals should they need. During her career as an educator in the secondary school VCAL sector and as a survival skills trainer, Tory has mentored, motivated and inspired adults, students and disengaged and at-risk young people towards bright future goals with a solid foundation of skills and the confidence to use them.
Tory is an integrative counsellor who, as well as private practice, also works a alongside a team of counsellors as part of an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider across many and varied sectors of employment.
