Counsellor | Parent | Former Senior VM Teacher | Survival Expert
I work with people of all ages and from all walks of life, with a particular focus on teens and young adults. Helping people discover (or rediscover!) who they are and find their path forward is my greatest joy.
At the heart of my work are authenticity, respect, and genuine care. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported without judgement, allowing them to reconnect with their strengths, values, and capacity to move forward.

I bring first-hand experience in resilience and high-pressure environments, including being one of only five civilians in four years to complete a gruelling six-day military survival program in the Peruvian Amazon. Alongside my professional training, these experiences inform a focused, personalised, and practical approach to wellbeing support.

Outside of work, I am a wife and mum who enjoys adventuring with my family, horse riding, cooking, and lifelong learning.

I support people through major life transitions and everyday challenges, including:

Life transitions
-
Career pathway planning (school-age and beyond)
-
Adjusting to adulthood
-
Starting or ending significant relationships
-
Pregnancy, labour preparation, and parenting
-
Health- and identity-related changes

Day-to-day challenges
-
Navigating tricky relationships
-
Processing difficult thoughts and emotions
-
Supporting behaviour change
-
Study habits and life balance
-
Building routines, confidence, communication, and self-care strategies

...and many more! I may also use screening tools to explore areas of concern and guide therapeutic focus and referrals where appropriate.

I work with evidence-based, best-practice and trauma-informed approaches to support people experiencing distress or seeking to strengthen and ‘level up’ their capabilities. I hold a Bachelor of Psychological Science and have a strong working knowledge of diagnostic frameworks and formal assessments which supports collaborative care and appropriate referral when specialised services are required.
My professional experience includes wellbeing and mental health support to adults, students, and disengaged or at-risk young people, alongside my current work in private practice and within an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). I support individuals across a wide range of industries and life contexts.

My integrative, individualised approach may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Somatic and Narrative approaches, and Motivational Interviewing.

Please note: I am a psychology-informed counselling practitioner, not a psychologist. Medicare rebates are currently only available for services provided by registered psychologists.
